Learn to dream..

In conservative semi-rural "Moach Goth" and its adjoining areas, women are not encouraged and at times forbidden to go out of their homes for schooling or purpose of education.
Keeping the ground-realities in mind, Dream Foundation team has used its home-based schooling experience of its earlier years, and established a home-based schooling system focusing on adult or teenage women. This team is made up of local Dream Foundation School's teachers, already supported by the community elders, and therefore has relevantly less security concerns as compared to a program run by external volunteers/educators.
The program provides basic level functional education to women and young girls with the support of external contributors (of books and curriculum). It is an accelerated education programme which prepares young girls for matriculation exams (equivalent to O’Level) within 5 Years. Thus providing opportunity of continuing secondary level education, to girls who had dropped out from school due to socio-economic reasons. The teachers of Dream Model Street School make home visits to encourage the parents to provide education to their daughter.
As of May 2014, a total of 10 girls had passed their matriculation exams (secondary school certificate) with the aid of this program. This is by far, a record in the history of "Muach Goth". Furthermore, by encouragement of the teachers, the availability of curriculum and the emotional support from DFT, out of those 10 girls, 5 continued their education and achieved their Intermediate effectively (high-school equivalency). This means that now 5 more families (approximately 20 children will have educated mothers in the next generation).
